"I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world.
I may not complete this last one
but I give myself to it."
Rainer Maria Rikle - "The Book of Hours"

more about my journey...
"You will, your art will take you there."
I vividly remember this from Rijuta, a fellow classmate, when I shared my wish to study arts in Europe. A small comment with a big impact. I carried her word with me like a mantra, trusting my arts will take me to places.

I keep pursuing my artistic career, constantly leaning towards the arts that are good for the community, the planet and people’s well-being.
Sustainable design

Together with my team Collective Sonson, I work with local handicrafts and indigenous communities, reimagining daily objects with traditional techniques such as indigo dyeing, rattan weaving…

We won first prize at Vietnam Design Week 2020 and since then, we have been featured in many creative events, magazines, talk shows in Vietnam as one of the local voices of sustainable design.

The joy and magic of co-creating arts

I organise and facilitate retreats of improvised dance in Vietnam and with Subtle Waters in Bali. My newest labour of love Creative Play brings together international artistic into a community of care, co-creations and creativity.
I live by “Tri Hita Karana” - the Hindu-Balinese three-way harmonious relationship between wellbeing, community and nature. So simple, so profound and oh so challenging! All my life’s practice is contained in these few words.
This guiding philosophy has brought me many magical moments. I feel rejuvenated and purposeful in each and every project I’ve been a part of.

As the story goes... nearly 15 years later, I arrived in Italy, Europe. As an artist in residence with Fatelab. With the local community, I hosted workshops on nature-human connection and build a human-sized nest (!)
Sometimes, I danced freely on the late night streets with arms wide open; my feet running towards the joy of being here in this very moment, with no care nor fear. I was living the musical of my life. The empty cobblestone alleys became my stage. My limbs were liberated from the fear of judgment and my heart could not be choreographed.
“You will, your art will take you there.”
Though I know now that there is no final destination,
only the journey to experience.
How do I follow my path and share my gifts while sustaining myself?
With whom can I practice multiple forms of wealth and feeling enriched by our exchange?
These are the questions I am living. And I know I cannot find the answer by myself.
If you are at all touched by my questions, my story, or my art, please reach out. We could be the one we have been waiting for.
